One of the best parts of our job Trip, is that we can go out and do things like this during the week to avoid the crowds and "idiots"! Sometime you just cant avoid it though.

Scary, I have a quandary regarding where the most P on the sandbars comes from. most boats don’t have heads so it’s either the dogs, cats or people. I don’t get out of my boat. my guess is stupid people for sure.

Wow. This is the goofiest thing I've ever seen. I grew up commercial mullet fishing and this is just retarded. This is not how it's done. Wow. just wow. You use the boat to make the set.They're using the net like a seine. Since the net ban, I suppose any idiot can catch 400 lbs. Edit: I apologize. I don't know what it is since I left Pensacola in 1980. This ain't it, but maybe this is what it is now. That may be why they're using 200 ft nets. When I was fishing, minimum was 600 ft gill nets. Usually 1200 plus.

I grew up on the St. John’s right there in Deland, couple miles up the bridge and as a kid growing up, my parents always took us to the Glenn. We had a boat, I’m gonna do a little different sailboat motor on it. I’m dying to start off here in Lake Monroe and go up. I can’t wait. That’s awesome video.

Ha Trip I'm glad I looked back to find this older video of the early C-Dory dayze...Luv the excitement and you still have it even 2+yrs later! Did you ever mention what you paid? I've been looking for one and man while not pricey comparatively to a lot out there in the boating world, they are much more $$$ than I expected. Seems most are in the $40-60K range, even 20 yr old C-Dorys!

A friend has one on his Gladiator and never had one leak. You just have to install it with the recommended Velcro weather seal tape on install. Silly video.

I like your boat. I’ve got a 27 foot 300 hp inboard outboard. We’ve got a V birth, and small aft cabin. Head, shower, sink. Also a small galley and TV. it’s a pretty heavy regal. It’s a lot slower than your boat which I think I prefer. Enjoy your videos. When I’m on a plane, I burn about 18 to 20 gallons an hour which ain’t no fun.😂

That spot with good burgers "across the street" in New Smyrna Beach is called Merk's. Been there since I can remember and is a local favorite. Good choice!

I love these boats. this and the 16. i just wish they had blackwater tanks in them. cassette toilets are illegal here for boats. to many people were just dumping their contents overboard. they would be great for the Canal runs, city hopping and such. wonder if you could give up one side of the v-birth for a toilet and holding tank area... Add a heater, bring a butane stove. extra fuel or extended tanks. And take week long trips up and down the river and lakes.

Your anchor is too small. Plus you should have set an anchor alarm.

Vbirth is better for cold weather. More confined space so its easier to heat with a small heater, be it electric or propane. Some people have problems sleeping with light, or worse, with flashing lights. Up top you may have a lot of light pollution, especially if you are near a busy port or dock. the Vbirths often have fewer and smaller windows, so yo may only need to shade or block off 1-3 windows, vs up top where yo may need to block off the entire 360. which can greatly add to set up and break down times for sleeping. Set up and break down. There are times where you want to move from a sleeping area to a sitting area because you can't sleep or something. now you can use the captains chair for this but that limits what you can do while sitting.

some of these fail right away, i have seen a number of them that are not very good, really your best bet is have another person to help you right away no matter what you have, really they just help u float if you are awake , thats about it
